About me
During the day, I'm a professional with experience in science and research. But I will always be an artist with an eye for good design.
My passion for design is driven by profound curiosity and the joy of discovery. My expertise includes design thinking, research, problem analysis, solutions oriented ideaphoria, presentation, and client interaction. I have an eye for detail and outstanding technical capability. As a designer, I excel at sketching, prototype fabrication, model making, storyboarding, and communication. I'm always thinking about the box - inside, outside, and beyond.
I grew up in Boulder, Colorado where I saw the dawn of the personal computer, the height of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, and the end of the Punk Rock era. My adventures have taken me far, through careers in the culinary arts and the biological sciences. I've cooked in twelve restaurants, spent time in a bee suit, and I've rattled the doors to the halls of medicine. I even performed on stage once. It was a sold out crowd.
In my youth, I drew pictures, made models, and took things apart. As an adult, I discovered how to build furniture. That's when I found myself. Today, I design for pleasure and for joy. It's a rewarding lifestyle I embrace.
